MassCourts.org
Massachusetts Housing Court Public Internet Access

The Housing Court Department of the Massachusetts Trial Court announced the introduction of internet access to Summary Process, Small Claims, Civil and Supplementary Process case types that are currently available to the public.

Case information can be accessed via the Trial Court’s eAccess internet site at www.masscourts.org. The site allows users to conduct searches by case type, case number or case name. Users can find detailed instructions on the Housing Court page of the Trial Court’s website. Electronic access to all publicly available case types also continues to be available at public access computers at the five Housing Court divisions and at courthouses throughout the state.

“We are very pleased to increase accessibility to case information,” said Housing Court Chief Justice Steven D. Pierce. “Large numbers of Housing Court users are self-represented litigants and we believe that internet access provides them, as well as members of the bar, with more convenience and better service.” Public internet access is made available through MassCourts, the Trial Court’s web-based, case management platform now utilized by six of the seven Trial Court departments. MassCourts allows real-time data collection and electronic data exchange with other entities and once fully implemented will replace 14 legacy systems. Internet access also is available to case information in the Land Court and to estate cases in the Probate and Family Court.

NWCLA Fundraiser Events

The NWCLA sponsors a couple of charities and if you would like to do some fundraising in Texas Roadhouse for one of them - let us know!

What the Texas Roadhouse does is 10% Nights where we pick a date about 3 weeks out and then we would make a flyer with that date and the charity name you choose to do a fundraiser for, and the NWCLA could give a stack to each landlord and each landlord could hand it out to all their tenants and everyone you know!

Whoever comes in on that date with the flyer 10% of their bill will go right back to the charity!
The more people that come in and eat the more money the fundraiser makes for your charity!

Thank You,

Dear Fellow Landlords and Property Managers

The NWCLA was formed to provide a structured forum for landlords and property managers to get informed on the changing areas of rental real estate and the laws that govern the business we are in.

We want to provide guidance for those new to the business as well as use our strength as an organization to prevent negative legislation and promote positive changes in Massachusetts,

We own property in one of the toughest states to be a landlord in, the scale is not tipped in our favor, and we must work together to run our businesses in the strictest manner, and encourage changes that would give equality back to the legal housing system.

We are all in the business of providing housing; together we can work to better our community and our real estate. We urge you to consider joining our organization. The benefits are many to belong to an upstanding group that works on issues that effect you and your livelihood.

See you all on the second Thursday of the month at Monty Tech!

Warmest Regards,

Brian Lucier
NWCLA President
