In this presentation we will look at three different property management software solutions. First we will explore all that Google Drive has to offer in the way of spreadsheets, documents and record keeping to keep your rental property running in the green with custom created documents to maximize the efficiency in running your business.

Then Debbie will peel back the layers of Buildium, our fist professional off-the-shelf software solution for the night. Debbie will walk through the work flow from listing your property, to screening residents, to the move in process and month-to-month tasks within this software package.

Brian will then take you on a virtual tour of all the AppFolio has to offer to manage your rental property business. We will look at the many features available in this package and follow the flow from listing to lease up and much, much more.

Finally we will summarize the solutions presented in our presentation and give our best recommendation as to if and when you may want to consider crossing over from the free tools to a complete property management software solution to optimize the scaleability of your rental operations.

State Sanitary Code Compliance for
Landlords and Multi-Unit Dwellings

In December 2017 the Chapter II of the new State Sanitary Code was scheduled to become law, but as of this date, still has not passed and become law in Massachusetts. Several Board of Health Inspectors across the state anticipate these new requirements, but few have an actionable plan as to how these new laws will be enforced or implemented.

Lead Paint, Asbestos, & Mold - Oh My!!

Lead paint in your home or business is nothing to ignore, and lead poisoning can be a very serious health condition that affects your ability to do everything in your everyday life you do now. So be sure to take the time to have a lead paint consult eliminate those problems before they become hazardous to your health.

Some common areas to find mold are: bathrooms, closets, attics and kitchens. In addition to remediation of mold, Water Fire Mold Restoration Services offers prevention of mold growth. Using a machine to put a microscopic layer on surfaces to prevent mold from returning or from growing in the first place.

Many people are sensitive to mold and some will experience health complications due to mold. NWCLA Christmas Social. Come one, come all, have a ball!

This is our Annual Toys for Tots Drive and Food Pantry Drive where every year we make a food donation to a local food pantry. We also fund a Toy Drive to donate to the Massachusetts State Police Toys for Tots Charity Drive. What a great way to celebrate the Christmas Holiday Season by sharing our blessings with others!

This is also the meeting where we find out who has won the Golden Ticket Award Contest for $100, the Annual NWCLA Membership Drive for one-year free basic NWCLA membership, and so much more.
